Are you looking to build a
stronger bond with your son?
Give him some one-on-one time.
Take time to learn about his
hobbies. Does he like to color
or
hit the baseball? Ask if you can do
it, too. Children like nothing more
than to show off their latest creations
or how practice has made them better in their sport.
Be silly together. Celebrate his
childhood and be a kid again. Build
a fort, wrestle and get dirty.

Allow him to pick a favorite
museum or park. Use the time
to
talk about what you see and later
ask what his favorite part of the day
was – he may surprise you and say
spending time with you, Mom.
