Spring has sprung, and with summer right around the corner, families are making
their way outdoors to soak up the sun. While outdoor activities are a lot of fun, it's
important to keep your children protected, as it only takes a few serious sunburns to
increase skin cancer risk later in life. Whenever you're outdoors with your children,
keep them—and yourself—protected by seeking out shade where available, wearing
a hat and sunglasses to shade the face, scalp, ears, and neck, and be sure to use a
sunscreen with at least 15 SPF and UVA/UVB protection. Even if your sunscreen is
waterproof, it's important to reapply often throughout the day for the best protection.
