Family First Dental was founded in February 2012. We are a family-focused dental practice that believes in creating a personal and comfortable relationship with all of our patients so that they may feel at ease when visiting our dental practice. People are typically anxious about going to the dentist, so we strive to ensure that all of our patients feel welcomed and relaxed when visiting us. Q: What exactly is family dentistry? Family dentistry is comprehensive care for all members of your fam- ily focused on creating a pain-free and relaxed environment to treat all of your dental needs. We understand how hard it can be to find a practice that sees adults and children, so we created a place where the entire family can come together to have all of their dental needs met. One of the best parts of a family practice is watching the children grow into young adults. Q: What is the correct age for transitioning from fluoride- free tooth- paste to regular toothpaste? Age 5. According to the American Association of Pediatrics, this is the proper age to transition to a fluori- dated toothpaste. Q: At what age do children usually start losing their teeth? Children typically start losing their teeth around 5 years old. Q: Is it safe to pull your child's loose tooth, or should you let it fall out naturally? It is safe to pull your child's tooth unless the child is complaining of extreme pain or discomfort. in creating a personal and comfortable relationship with all Tell us a little about Family First Dental.
