Smart beginnings, the region's advocate in school readiness, has activities planned to help you better prepare your children ages birth to 5 with programs and activities that serve as building blocks for early life success. KINDERGARTEN, HERE I COME 2 nd Annual Kindergarten Enrollment Day Tuesday, April 8 This special kindergar- ten enrollment day is a collaboration between Smart beginnings Rappahannock Area and the five school divisions. If your child is turning 5 before September 30, visit your local elementary school during the designated times to enroll your child into kindergarten. • caroline: 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. • Fredericksburg city: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. • king George: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. • Spotsylvania: 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. • Stafford: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. of a child's brain is developed before reaching kindergarten. 90% BABYPALOOZA Saturday, April 12 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Spotsylvania Regional Medical center is hosting Babypalooza and partnering with Smart beginnings and the March of Dimes March for Babies. This family-centered event will showcase over 40 local companies who will share information and samples of products and services, a children's festival and fashion show. bring your baby's car seat for a free safety check by Spotsylvania county Sheriffs.
