I've visited there since I was 6, searching for my favorite trading cards. The Card Cellar is a memorabilia shop, where they sell all types of trading cards owned by Bart Goldberg and I had the chance to talk with him recently. He grew up in Pennsylvania but moved here 35 years ago. While attending JMU, his roommate introduced him to card collecting. The love of collecting and his dream to own a store, and The Card Cellar came to be. The first location in Spotsylvania was not doing well so he moved to downtown Fredericksburg, since it's such a welcoming and great community. Bart's love for this community shows when he's with his customers. So, I will continue to go to the Card Cellar looking for my dream trading card to be found. I'm a kid reporter, and I visited "LibertyTown Arts Workshop", and it was awesome. LibertyTown is a fun art place where artists make and sell all kinds of art, like pottery, drawings, paintings, and weaving. This art workshop helps kids be creative by offering classes where we can learn pottery, weaving, and lots of other kinds of visual art. Kids get to express themselves however they want, and there are many different classes to choose from. All kids feel welcome and safe at LibertyTown. The space is calm and peaceful, and you can share your true feelings through art without anyone judging you. They are also open to trying new ideas, and they have a calendar that shows all the upcoming events and classes. My favorite part was looking at all the flower paintings. The bright colors and different styles made me feel like I was outside in nature. I even got to sign the guest book, which made me feel like a real reporter!
