Bring a blanket to Riverfront Park (at the intersection of Charlotte and Sophia streets) and get comfy under the stars for screenings of a children's Halloween classic (25-minute run time) followed by "Hocus Pocus." Participating Downtown restaurants will offer special boxed meals that you can order to-go and bring to the park. Sponsored Material Family Costume Stroll Saturday, Oct. 29 • 9:30 a.m. Meet at the Virginia Railway Express Park and Ride Lot B (bordered by Caroline, Sophia and Frederick streets) starting at 9 a.m. The parade will stroll down Caroline Street to Market Square before the start of Treats on the Streets. Treats on the Streets Saturday, Oct. 29 • 10 a.m. until noon Downtown Fredericksburg becomes the ultimate backdrop for safe trick-or-treating in this annual tradition. Bring a bag for your child to collect treats from participating Downtown merchants and members of the Fredericksburg Police Department. The fun doesn't stop after Halloween! Downtown sparkles during the holiday season. Kick things off with the annual Holiday Open House Nov. 11-12. You'll find special deals at retailers and you might even spot Santa strolling the streets.
