Throughout November, Greenlights Will Shine in Solidarity With Embrey Mill’s Veteran Community

North Stafford, Virginia – October 24, 2016 – Embrey Mill, an 831-acre master-planned community located 12.5 miles from Quantico in North Stafford, Virginia, announces its participation in the “Greenlight A Vet” campaign to support American veterans. Created by Wal-Mart in November 2015, the “Greenlight A Vet” campaign showcases visible support for America’s veterans and their families by changing one porch light to green on homes across America.

To honor current and future military residents, Embrey Mill is supplying its community with green lightbulbs in support of the “Greenlight A Vet” campaign. Starting on Veterans Day, November 11 and continuing throughout the entire month of November, Embrey will remember the valuable contributions that each veteran has made to America. “Embrey Mill has a history of providing our service men and women with a community that supports their core values and lifestyle,” stated Director of Marketing, Fred Garnes, “We take pride in providing military families with a variety of homebuilders to choose from and a community full of amenities and activities.”

Located 12.5 miles from Quantico, and less than 45 miles from Washington, D.C., approximately 40% of Embrey Mill homeowners are military families. In keeping with its commitment to support the military community and offer a “home base” for service members, each Embrey Mill homebuilder offers exclusive incentives to military families along with landscaping services for those who have deployed family members. The “Greenlight A Vet” campaign offers an additional opportunity for the Embrey Mill community to thoughtfully connect with — and show appreciation for — local service members.

Embrey Mill is owned in a joint venture partnership between NORTH AMERICA SEKISUI HOUSE, LLC (NASH), the U.S. business unit and full subsidiary of SEKISUI HOUSE, LTD., Japan’s largest homebuilder and leading diversified developer, and Newland Real Estate Group, LLC, whose development business, Newland Communities, is the master developer of the community.
