Doctor Yum Project Introducing the he Doctor Yum Project is a new nonprofit started by pediatrician Nimali Fernando, MD MPH, who started doctoryum.com in 2011. T an enthusiastic board of directors, has outlined a mission: partnering with families to raise children who eat a healthy whole food diet. We are now offering FREE shopping classes at two Fredericksburg Our nonprofit, now with at showing families how to get organized and save money while preparing healthy dishes. Classes are now offered twice a month. In August, we offered our first cooking camp for "Doctor Yum's Cooking Adventure" grocery stores. The class is aimed kids, called kids ages 7-12. Kids enjoyed a daily nutrition lesson, tastings, cooking skills and preparation of healthy plant-based recipes from around the world. tuned as we develop new classes.
