Outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, biking, and playing sports keep the summer fun and active. While taking full advantage of long, warm days, it's important to keep your family safe. All that heat and activity can lead to a lot of sweating. In some cases, this can lead to heat exhaustion, when the body overheats and pulse becomes rapid. If not addressed, this can lead to heatstroke, when body temperature is above 104. This can result in brain damage and even death. To keep your family safe, be sure to hydrate often, taken plenty of breaks, and find a nice shady spot to cool off. Find expert care for you and your family at Practices.mwhc.com.
