6 Fredericksburg Parent and Family • May 2015 Nurse Kathy was discovering ways to make sure leukemia never keeps her from being a kid. We all know kids are curious little creatures. At Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, so are our nurses. It's that curiosity that led nurse Kathy to discover the most compassionate and innovative ways to treat Campbell's leukemia. And it's seeing her desire to provide TLC to others, just like her favorite nurse, that keeps our entire team devoted to discovering the best care for kids.
