It's a time for new beginnings and longer days, sunshine and mud. As the weather get a little warmer and our windows open to embrace the fresh air, it's hard not to get the fever — spring fever! We go giddy over DIY projects, spring/summer camps, yard sales and gardens. Let's celebrate this month by letting go of the things we don't need, projects we won't finish and worries we can't control. Spring is the perfect time to get a little dirt under our nails and glitter in our hair. Here's to spring and new beginnings! Brenda Sapanghila is the social media manger at Fredericksburg Parent & Family. She loves playing outside with her boys and dog in the warm sunshine of spring. BY BRENDA SAPANGHILA The Refreshing & Renewing Power of Spring "I made a list of activities a summer camp must have for me to attend. Flying a plane and driving a monster truck are especially important."
