Amenities also include a baby pool and a snack bar. It's located in North Stafford in the Hampton Oaks neighborhood, near the Porter Library. CURTIS PARK POOL 58 Jesse Curtis Lane, Stafford Curtis Park Pool remains one of the few pools in the area that offers a diving board. Also one of the largest pools, it is 50 meters by 25 meters and has a snack bar and baby pool. Curtis Park attracts people from southern Fauquier County and south Stafford. Not up for swimming? The park has a skate park that's a hit with preteens and teens. PIRATES COVE WATER PARK AT MASSAD FAMILY BRANCH YMCA 212 Butler Road, Falmouth The YMCA houses two indoor pools and features a full, outdoor waterpark complete with two commercial 30 foot water slides, splash toys for little ones, a 25 meters by 25 meters pool and a 15 foot youth slide. While members get the biggest bang for their buck, nonmembers can pay their way in and enjoy a day of laughter and fun. LORIELLA PARK SWIMMING POOL 10910 Leavells Road, Fredericksburg Loriella Park Pool is a popular summer hot spot for residents of Spotsylvania County. The pool, which is one of the few with a diving board, also has a snack bar and reasonable pricing points for swimmers who want to swim for a day or a season. If you're not game for a swim, or want to pop out of the water for a while, the park offers tennis courts, basketball and a well designed disc golf course. DIXON PARK POOL 1300 Dixon Street, Fredericksburg Dixon Park pool, the first public pool in the city, offers equal space for those who want to swim and those who prefer to bathe in the sun. For chil- dren, the pool offers water spray areas and buckets that tip and drench patrons. The pool also offers group rates, and is available for complete rental for those wishing to hold pool parties for birth- days or gatherings.
