Meet Jaime Goitia
J
aime Goitia is an important part of many patients' surgical experiexperi
ence at Access Eye Centers. As the Director of Refractive Surgery,
he is responsible for assisting the physicians with each Lasik and
experi
premium lens cataract patient's pre-surgical and post-surgical experience. He holds a doctorate in medicine from the University of the East
in the Philippines and has been in the field of ophthalmology for 26
years. Jaime Goitia also speaks three languages: English, Spanish
and Philipino (Tagalog).
"My favorite part of my job at Access Eye Centers is helping people
transform the quality of their lives through visual freedom from
corrective lenses," he said.
Jaime Goitia enjoys beach vacations, gardening, racquetball and soccer. He lives in Spotsylvania
with his wife of almost 30 years.
