There is something about the start of a new
school year that always feels like a reset in
our house. Just last week, my son was lacing
up his soccer cleats for practice, and I realized
just how much of our rhythm is shaped by
after-school activities. We have tried a little
bit of everything over the years. Some things
stick, some don't, and sometimes the best
moments come from trying something completely new, like flag football
last year.
That is part of what makes this season so special. It is not just about
getting back to routines. It is about discovering what fits your child in
this moment, whether that is a team sport, a creative outlet, or some-
thing unexpected like inline hockey, which has quietly become a big deal
around the 'Burg.
