10 Fredericksburg Parent and Family • Special Issue 2026 10 Fredericksburg Parent and Family • Special Issue 2026 On a recent trip to Downtown Fredericksburg, my family and I visited Fearless Gluten Free Café. It's a brand-new café dedicated to people with gluten sensi vi es. When I visited, I tried the Mexican wedding cookies and hot chocolate donuts and they were my favorite. Everyone was very friendly and helpful as soon as we walked through the door. Fearless Gluten Free Café is open 10am-6pm Tuesday-Saturday. On a recent visit, I spoke with the employees, and they said Tim, the owner, wanted to have a place where people with gluten sensi vi es could dine without being worried about cross contamina on. His goal is also to make food that is gluten-free but does not taste gluten-free. If you are downtown be sure to stop by Fearless Gluten Free Café! Fearless Gluten Free Café WRITTEN BY NORA, AGE 10 Nora I love Pots and Palettes! You can paint your own pottery there! Why I LOVE Pots and Palettes is that there is so much to look at! I also like the KIDS section! They have such nice employ- ees- a lot of them are women. Mrs.Catherine bought Pots and Palettes because she had the chance to buy the business. She painted a lot of pottery, but she loved the pottery that other people painted. In her Spotsylvania store, she likes that the parking is so big! She has been in business for 22 years. Kids will love going because they can be creative! No one knows that every table is numbered for when you get your paint. Hope you enjoy and bring your kids and adults!
