Support Is Just a Call Away
The back-to-school season is an important time to check in with your
child—not just about supplies and schedules, but about how they're
feeling. If you're concerned about your child's mental health, RACSB
offers outpatient therapy services for children and teens across the
region. RACSB also offers trainings in Mental Health First Aid and
other topics for both adults and adolescents.

Q: When should a parent consider reaching out for additional
support?
TYLER: If your child seems consistently anxious, withdrawn, or starts avoid-
ing things they used to enjoy, that could be a sign they need more help. Also,
if the school transition triggers a noticeable change in sleep, appetite, or
mood that lasts more than a few weeks, it's worth talking to a professional.
