As a first-time parent, I remember being surprised to learn that pre-
school registration began as early as January. Lines of eager parents
would form at the most sought-after preschools on the very morning
registration opened.
New parents, consider this your friendly reminder: It's time to start
planning for school registration. Many preschools and private schools
are already enrolling, and public kindergarten registration is just around
the corner in March and April. To help you navigate this important
