www.FredericksburgParent.NET 27 Wreath Making Workshops at Stratford Hall Stratford Hall Gardener, Lindeve Hostvedt, will guide you through all the steps in creating a beautiful wreath to adorn your home this holiday season. Greens, cut from Stratford Hall's historic grounds will be used: juniper; cypress; loblolly, white and Virginia pine, magno- lia, and boxwood, creating a finished 24 – 26ʺ wreath. If you would like to bring your own ribbons and other décor, we will be happy to show you how to enhance your finished wreath. Please bring your own clippers. Wine & Wreath Making with The Estate at Whitehall Vineyard Friday, December 8 • 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Cider & Wreath Making with Ditchley Cider Works Saturday, December 9 • 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. $75 per person The Wreath Making Workshops will be held at the Stratford Hall Council House. Brunch Buffet and Pictures with Santa at Stratford Hall Sunday, December 10 • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Create a memory of a lifetime in the Dining Room at Stratford Hall! Enjoy a buffet of bacon, chicken apple sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, fried breakfast potatoes, mixed berries and beverages. Select your mini pancakes and visit the pancake bar with all your favorite toppings including chocolate chips, powdered sugar, sprinkles, berry compote, maple syrup and of course whipped cream! To top it off, don't miss the hot chocolate bar topped with marshmallows, peppermint, whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and more. Bringing extra holiday cheer, Santa Claus himself will be greeting children of all ages throughout the holiday brunch. Families may have their photos taken with jolly ol' St. Nick in a festive setting from 11a.m. to 1p.m. Adult Price: $40 Child (12 & under) Price: $25 Christmastide Evening Program Saturday, December 9 • 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Come see Stratford Hall's historic buildings and grounds decorated in holiday spirit, listen to colonial music by Ampersand in the Great Hall and drumming by Slam Stewart in the stone quarters, and step into the historic kitchen for a cook- ing demonstration with interpreter Dontavius Williams. Carriage rides in the his- toric area will be available for an additional purchase (limited availability). Stop by the Gift Shop for holiday shopping with a signature Stratford Hall Gift Basket, stocking stuffers, and much more. Visitors will receive a 10% discount in the Gift Shop and Friends of Stratford Members will receive a 20% discount on purchases.
