One of my favorite parts of spring is the ability to get outdoors
to enjoy the sunshine. I love running, but fi nd it unbearable to do
consistently throughout the winter. Once we get to late February,
early March, I dust of the Sauconys, pat down the shorts and start
easing my way back into 6K shape for summer.
Another thing I love about warm weather is the ability to enjoy
pa o dining and par cipate in outdoor ac vi es with my wife.
Much of our me spent together prior to marriage was outdoors—
hanging out at the City Dock, walking through downtown, ea ng
at Sammy T's and shoo ng basketball at Loriella Park (she watched
me, of course).
In this issue, we dive into fun ways to rekindle those da ng days
again. They seem to be fewer and farther between as children come
along, but they're necessary. We off er some dazzling da ng ideas
for every type of couple as well as give you ideas for recrea onal
fun—shoo ng range, anyone?
Now that spring is here and is looking like it may be a lot more
fes ve than year's past, set the si er on speed dial, drop the kids
off at parent's night out and do something fun with your signifi cant
other.
Spring is in the air. Catch the fever!
