Celebrating Heart Heroes
Described by his cardiologist as "the brightest light in
the room," Jacob has every reason to shine.
Jacob had his first open heart surgery to correct
a birth defect when he was just six months old.
A decade later, his Children's Hospital Foundation
Heart Center team, led by Dr. Thomas Yeh, replaced a
pulmonary valve – enabling the bubbly 10-year-old to
keep on dancing to his favorite music!
This month we celebrate Jacob and all of the heart
heroes who turn to our compassionate and expert
team for life-changing heart care, in Richmond and
right here in Fredericksburg.
