Do you all love autumn? I'm sure my mom friends out there all do. Hello, school! Though Archer is still to little for pre-school, I absolutely adore Autumn! I always have, even as a kid. Most little girls dread Fall. It means summer vacation is over! Not me. I was always in love with the rich sounds and smells of the season; Falling leaves, cozy sweaters, hot drinks, crispy air, and that spicy pumpkin color everywhere!
You know the best part about Fall? The weather. I swear, October is the most beautiful season in Virginia. I actually wanted to get married in October, but everywhere we inquired was booked (A year in advance!). I am especially looking forward to picking pumpkins with Archer. We went last year, of course, but he was only 4 months old. Much to little to really enjoy the whole epic process (Full pictures in all of their cute glory here.).
We always go to Snead's Farm to pick our pumpkins (I would link to them, but unfortunately their website is down.). There is no charge to enter the farm and the pumpkins are reasonably priced. There is a hayride, and animals to pet, and even a rope swing! Archer looses his mind over animals and tractors, so I'm really looking forward to the whole shebang.
Also: The Pumpkin Spice Latte is back.
What are you guys most excited about this season? Football? Pumpkin lattes? Sweater dresses?
