Ten years ago I spent a Father’s Day morning with my family in Joshua Tree National Park. The kids got to explore trails and sandstone rocks … look at cacti, Joshua trees, coyotes, rabbits, scorpions, and tarantulas … and I got to see the wonder of discovery in their little faces. So many of my fondest memories are of my kids in such situations.
This is a complex world with divorces, multiple marriages, and single parents… to the guys out there that have been Dads to their offspring, stepchildren, and adopted kids I’d like to wish you all a great day!
