Kids' Viewpoint of My Weight Loss

August 9, 2013

I have seriously lost my mind this summer, I decided you might find my childrens' view of my weight loss interesting.  So I'm turning my blog over to them.   One of the reasons I had surgery was to be more active for them...But do they think that I have accomplished that goal (as I make them sit and write)?

Jac's Opinion

Hi there, I'm Jac. My mom looks a lot more beautiful and nice. I get to do more things with her like going to Kings Dominion and the movies. I also get to see her run races. I get to go fishing a lot more at our cabin in the Adirondacks with her. We also get to see museums in New York too.

Things my mom does now:

  • She can't eat much.

  • She suntans more.

  • She blogs a lot.

  • She tries on pretty clothes.

  • She has a lot more jewelry.

  • She has different favorite drinks.

  • She has sugar free-ice cream.

  • She likes the yellow packet of sugar (Splenda)

Well, they definitely have their views on my weight loss. I will say Katey got it right, Diet Coke is no longer my favorite drink (something I almost drank exclusively before surgery), I like flavored water or iced tea with Splenda these days. Have to go now…kids want me to run with them!
