Capital Ale House Oktoberfest Returns This Fall To Fredericksburg
FREDERICKSBURG, Va- Capital Ale House’s Annual Oktoberfest returns again this fall with more beer, brats and lederhosen! Oktoberfest will take place in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg on Saturday Oct. 3, highlighting Virginia craft and German imported beers paired with traditional German cuisine.
Spend the day in Downtown Historic Fredericksburg to enjoy live music, German dancing and over 100 craft and imported brews. The festival has a $3 cover charge, with proceeds benefitting Main Street Program of Fredericksburg. Each guest of legal drinking age can purchase a traditional 1.0 liter Capital Ale House stein for $4.
To begin the festivities and as tradition the tapping of the first keg will take place 11:30 a.m. this year by Ann Glave, executive director of Fredericksburg Main Street Initiatives. We have live music from The Happy Dutchmen and the Ja Ja Jas from New York with their rock’n polka music! The Hirschjäger Dancers are back again with traditional German dance and entertainment.
Bring the fun together for family and friends with our VIP seating which includes a server and private table in view of the stage with one sharable appetizer. Each person receives four beer tokens, two food tokens and an Oktoberfest Stein and t-shirt.
With the recent renovations to the Fredericksburg location, dine inside and try a full menu of German food! With items available, such as giant Bavarian pretzels, bratwurst, knackwurst, currywurst, sauerbraten and Jaegerschnitzel. Traditional sides include German potato salad, red cabbage, spaetzel and sauerkraut.
All Capital Ale Houses will celebrate for the entire 16 days of Oktoberfest with German food specials, dozens of German style beers and exciting events at all five locations.
